 | Angela BrownAngela Brown is the co owner and artistic director of Sundown Productions & Events and a huge lover of all things dance & theatre! Angela’s love of dance started when she took her very first dance class at the age of 3, and after years of training in all forms of dance, stage productions, professional performances, she opened her very own dance studio at the young age of 18 years. After a decade of running a successful studio, little did she know where it would take her… After moving to Airlie Beach 3 years ago, Angela felt the area could really embrace in a theatre show. Angela’s passion for live events, stage shows & tourism entertainment is electric. “The energy of the stage, the creativity, choreography, music, costumes & stage sets, the thrill of the crowd, and the magic of the moment — that’s what I live for,” she says . “As a performer, entertainer, a marketer, event producer, the stage is a place I fondly call home! |
Emmalene TinsonEmmalene is a professional dancer with a diverse background in both performance and choreography after years of dancing growing up. After studying full-time dance for two years at Lee Academy she earned her Certificate IV in Dance and a Diploma of Musical Theatre. With these qualifications, she launched her career as a performer, and for over four years, she toured as a dancer in the acclaimed cabaret cirque show ‘Infamous’, touring across Australia and America. In addition to her role as a dancer, Emmalene has contributed to the show as a choreographer, bringing her creative vision to the stage. She is passionate about teaching and has shared her expertise as a Commercial Heels choreographer at ‘The Scene’ on the Gold Coast. Her versatility as a performer is evident in her recent engagements at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2024, where she performed with both ‘Infamous’ and ‘Circus Spectacular’. With a wealth of experience in both the studio and on the stage, Emmalene continues to inspire audiences and dancers alike through her dynamic performances and innovative choreography. In collaboration with Co-Director Angela Brown, Emmalene co-founded Sundown Productions to bring the magic of cabaret, theatre, and performance to Airlie Beach. With a shared passion for the arts, they aim to create vibrant, immersive experiences that showcase talent while celebrating the dynamic world of live entertainment. |  |
